We have been working on a revision to the roll bar for the Toyota to meet SCCA homologation requirements.  The first three pictures showing unpainted tubing represents all of the components we are replacing. 

Front View

Notice the redesigned shoulder belt mounts.

Side View

In this view, you can see that the fore and aft braces have been moved upward significantly.  This should provide more protection from cockpit intrusion from the front.  It also seems that side visibility may be better for most people. 

Rear View

The shoulder belt bracket is made from a one piece formed eleven guage sheet, we removed some of the material from the middle to reduce weight and filled the hole with aluminum as pictured below.  Notice the threaded inserts welded below the shoulder belt bracket for Butler seat installation.

The firewall is two inches higher than the original.
